Responsive and Mobile Ready
So many devices exist out there in the world today that allow access to websites. From the obvious ones like desktops and laptops, to the modern ones like smartphones and tablets. In the short future websites will be just a way of life like electric was for the Twentieth Century. Internet connected devices are already quite prevalent in life today, but in 5–10 years saying something is internet ready will be like saying terms like “Electric Lighting” after the 50’s. It’s just assumed that nothing at this point is gas-powered when it comes to lighting and home devices that no one today would say “Electric Ready” as a selling point.
The point is, the internet will be everywhere for international to national to local markets.
So as time progresses and internet gets added to televisions, gaming consoles and even kitchen devices; you need a website that will scale to all devices while maintaining the look and feel of it being shown on a desktop. There’s no reason to have a “mobile version” of a website anymore. Responsive design is what removes that barrier.
By making a website responsive, the website takes the data and images and shuffles them to have a clean and functional design on any device at any time. It doesn’t compress the website for a terrible viewing experience, but cleanly rearranges the website data and images for primal view-ability.
Mobile Is Overtaking Standard Use
Mobile local search volume is currently intersecting with standard desktop searches and is growing to over 70% by the end of 2016. Google already favors websites optimized for mobile use when the search is done on a mobile device and with Other10 you get that standard.
Because the website URL stays the same, Google has already taken a stance on responsive design being the standard from 2015 onward.
This alone could be a reason you might find viewership and sales trending downward since mid 2014.
Everything Shifts With Responsive Design at OTHER10

Speed Is Half the Battle
The part many web designers forget is the other 10%.1
Hardening and optimization is an integral part of web design and what makes an Other10 website truly our own. We optimize your website for a fully responsive design for all devices and because of it your website is blazing fast. Analyzing website speeds is one of the last things we do in our website design, and if it doesn’t meet our strict specifications — we don’t stop until it does.
